Dental Bonding
For mild issues related to chips, alignment, or the shape of your teeth, our cosmetic dentists may recommend dental bonding. With this procedure, the dentist applies a small amount of tooth-colored resin over a tooth to fill in a gap, repair a chip, or cover damage. The enamel is then buffed to blend in seamlessly with your tooth so no one will know you had work done. Dental bonding is a minimally invasive procedure that is less expensive and easier to have done than veneers while still fixing minor cosmetic issues.
Dental Veneers
If you dream of a Hollywood-bright smile, with straight, perfectly even teeth, veneers may be the right option. Used to repair the look of teeth that are misaligned, misshapen, worn down, or stained, dental veneers are thin shells of porcelain or resin that cover the front and sides of individual teeth.
While it used to be a long, drawn out procedure that involved having to have unpleasant impressions taken and waiting weeks for an offsite lab to make your veneers, we now use CEREC technology to custom design and fabricate the veneers right in our office. Once they’re prepared, we remove a thin layer of your enamel to fit the veneer over top of the tooth and adhere them with resin to ensure a durable, long-lasting bond.
Invisalign
For permanently straight, even teeth, Invisalign® clear dental aligners are an option you could consider, especially if you want an alternative to metal braces. While it’s not an immediate transformation like bonding or veneers are, these plastic aligners fit over your teeth and don’t require any altering to your teeth. Instead, they are fit snugly to gradually straighten your teeth and every few weeks, you get new aligners to continually make progress. Our patients like that these are transparent, making them almost completely invisible, and because the aligners are removable, you can take them off to eat, brush, and floss so your teeth stay healthy.
